A warm, characterful pub right on The Bulwarks in St Aubin, looking out over one of Jersey's most loved harbour villages. Pull up a stool at the bar, find a corner in the lounge, or take a seat on the terrace and watch the boats come and go. Inside it's eclectic and welcoming. Outside the harbour does what it always does. Either way, there's no better place to be.

THE TENBY

St Aubin's harbour is the kind of place people come back to. The Tenby sits right on The Bulwarks, looking out over the water, and has done long enough to feel like part of the furniture. Inside, it's warm and welcoming in the way only a proper local can be. A pub that knows its regulars, looks after its visitors, and makes everyone feel like they've found the right place. Outside, the terrace puts you right in the middle of harbour life. The tide comes and goes. So do the boats. Part of the Randalls family since before most of us can remember, The Tenby is one of those places Jersey does particularly well. It's that kind of place.

The menu covers ground without losing focus. Jersey produce where it counts, classic dishes that earn their place, and seasonal plates that shift with what's good. The beef shin pie. The moules with proper bread and butter. The ribeye from grass-fed cattle. A specials board that means what it says. Sundays bring a roast worth planning the day around. This is a kitchen that cares, even when it's making it look easy.

Two courses, three courses, a pint and a harbour view. Sundays at The Tenby are worth getting up for. The kitchen puts everything into it — proper roasts, all the trimmings, and desserts that earn their place at the end. Two courses from £24.95. Three from £29.50. Served until 6pm. Book ahead.

SUNDAY ROAST

Sunday Roast

The way Sundays should be. A proper roast, all the trimmings, and a harbour view to sit back and enjoy it all from. Two courses for £24.95, three for £29.50. Served every Sunday from 12pm until 6pm. Booking recommended.

DRINKS

Randalls Spritz Club

Wedge yourself into a window seat or pull up a stool at the bar. Either way, the new spritz menu has landed and the weekday offer is a good one. Two for £15.95, Monday to Friday from 4 til 7. The kind of midweek stop that makes Wednesday feel a bit more like Friday, with the village right outside the door when you decide to move on.
